Went out this morning....the turkey's were hammering away at first light.....they were also fighting amongst each other and chasing hens.....almost there, can't wait for season to start!

Went out to another spot this Saturday.  Seems as though they're still grouped up pretty good. Did hear some gobbling but only for the first hour or so then nothing after that. Big groups of hens but no strutters! I hope it picks up soon.

I would imagine the snow that SE MN received last night will shut em down for a while.
A chilly week ahead.
