I love the comfort of a Cabelas gobbler lounger to support my lumbar disc herniation during long sits but sometimes get tired lugging it miles on public ground. Looking at the Breedlove gobbler lounger  or Browning Tracker XT. Any opinions or recommendations regarding these options for comfort, lower back support and light weight carry?

check out Fanatic outdoors hammock seat very light weight easy set up the most comfortable seat available I think you would like best feature is that it rotates allowing you to turn and see nearly 360 degrees

I love my cabelas gobbler lounger and can't see trading it in on anything, but that browning seat has me intrigued. May have to get one to use for coyote hunting.

i have an Alpz but it is too bulky to carry, if you can find one of the Mossy Oak Turkey Thugs chairs at walmart, GET IT, i have two now, one for me & one for my wife, yep, we got married April 4, 2014, took her in 2015, she killed one here in Louisiana, and one in Tenn, she is hooked, the MO chairs fold up good, very comfortable, and pack easily either with the strap or stuck in your vest, combined with a short blind, it makes for a great sit combo

I've got the Cabelas Gobbler Lounger and the Turkey Thugs seats.  Equally comfortable.  I presume the TT seat will be as durable.  Seems to be built equally well.  I just haven't used it as long as the CGL to know for sure.  At one point the TT chairs were on clearance at Walmart for a stupid low price.

Wow, I'm behind the times. I'm still using a closed cell foam cushion. My back, and the rest of me for that matter, ain't what it used to be and those seats sound like the cat's meow. I really should get off the mountain more often.

With a little trial and error, many of these fold up seats will fit in the game bag of your turkey vest making it much easier to transport. I use a Browning Strutter game chair and attached the bag it comes in to the left side of my vest. By the time I sling my shotgun on my right side, I'm fairly well balanced out.

Waldrop PAC seat. I turkey hunt and deer hunt with  it. So light, comes with hip and shoulder straps. It's so light you don't even realize it's on your back. You get a little elevation so you can see better. Get one

Bobby Leatherman out of Tunica MS used to swear by a wheelbarrow innertube.  It was light, quiet, and he could use it in a bunch of different ways.  After I hunted with him, I had my picture taken with a truck innertube around my neck holding a sign that read "Graduate of the Bobby Leatherman School of Turkey Hunting." 

Me?  In the early days, I favored a camo boat cushion.  To this day, I drop off a few of my cushions in strategic spots around the farm before season so I have something to sit on.  Schlepping one all day is too much, but picking one up from a hiding place and moving it 50 yards to hunt is no big deal.

For walking around, I keep a foam pad or two hooked to the back of my turkey bag. They weigh next to nothing, and two of them can give me a seat and a backrest.

Lastly, I have a musette bag that I sewed up myself, just because I could not find anything like what I wanted.  It's camo, and it has the normal arrangement of a musette, but it's bigger.  I carry bulky stuff like decoys, rain gear, and my lunch in it. After it warms up, I'll start shedding layers and things like the sweater go in there. 

So after it warms up a bit in the morning, I've got enough in that bag that I have a nice pillow. I have the two pads, plus the boat cushion, and about that time the action starts dying out, and it is time to go relocate to one of the turkey's loafing spots and wait.  I lay it all that stuff out in the line and now I have a nice bed for taking a nap with the musette bag as a pillow.

                      My two cents worth take a look at the Avery Power Seat at Mid West Turkey Call Supply, weighs 2 1/2 lbs and fits in the back of an average turkey vest, $31.95. no frills just a good low seat with a folding back.

Millennium M300 is a very comfortable seat, however they are a little pricy. I use it for deer, predator, and turkey hunting.
