Here is my BPS without the scope I had on her. I cannot believe how much lighter this gun feels without the scope, rings, and mounts. Definitely a gun that I will carry some next spring. I have carried this gun very little in the past and taken the only two gobblers I shot at with her. She will put around 400 in the 10 inch circle at 40 yds with #7 Nitros and a .710 Indian Creek choke. Rob Roberts lengthened the forcing cone and lightened the trigger pull. I hand fitted the KICK EEZ pad.

Nice Bps! Yea I noticed the same thing earlier this year when I added the b-square mount. With a scope on, it felt 10 lbs heavier! Decided to put the trs 25 off my other gun on it, and it feels fine now. Really was surprised that only an additional pound of scope could seem to make it feel so much heavier.

I shoot a bps 10ga too. I am having trouble with the nitro loads. They expand in the chamber when they are shoot and are very tough to eject. I polished the chamber and had a gunsmith check it out. I am going to pattern some federal hw #7 in the next few weeks. I am hoping that will make it a better.

the only indian creek choke tube I can find is a .690
How do you think the pattern would be with this set up?

Travis,
Nice to know she went to a good home. Great gun.
I wish you had gotten the .710 IC choke. It was really good in that gun. I killed the only two gobblers I shot at with that choke in that gun. One of them was one of my best Arkansas birds I have ever taken. I killed it in a field and not sure I could have taken it with my 12 gauge Benelli.
The .690 should work fine. Or you could call Indian Creek and I am sure they could make you a .710. They are located not too far up in Missouri. I called them when I bought the .710 I had. You can find their number on their website.

I didn't think about trying to call them that's a great idea. Trust me I wanted the choke but he drove up there to get the gun so he deserved it. Now I'm just trying to get the same results that you had.

Keep in mind I was shooting Nitros......You should have bought those also. Your buddy never asked me what I wanted for them, just told me they were too high dollar. I sold them for less than what you can buy Mag-blends.

Yeah trust me when he seen what you sold them for he regretted it, lol. And at the time I didn't have any extra cash. But he's sick about it now. Matter of fact we just talked about that just over an hour ago.
