Hi everyone, first post here but have been lurking for quite some time. This place is an incredible resource for newbie turkey hunters, so thank you all for the expert guidance and information.

On to my question...I just picked up my very first firearm, a brand new Browning A5 12ga 26" with 3.5 chamber in RealTree camo. I plan to add an IC choke. I would also like to add an EoTech 512 red dot sight but after hours of searching, I cannot figure out how to mount a sight or scope to this gun. Hoping somebody here owns this gun that has mounted a sight/scope and could point me in the right direction.

Thanks!

The only thing I've found so far is from Aimtech:

Not sure if this saddle style would scratch the receiver. They also make something that attaches to the rib.

Sweet gun! I have an A5 that was my dads and passed on to me. I wouldnt trade it for the world. I'm sure someone on here has better advice than me but either you'll have to drill and tap it for a top rail mount or you can use the saddle mount like in your post. If I'm wrong someone will correct me but I'm going thru the same thing with my benelli. I'm gonna have a local gunsmith drill and tap it for me.

Does anyone know if this will work with the new 3.5" A5 receiver?  I'm wondering if that's for the older model?

I've tried this one and another made by B-Square and neither are for the newer A5s. The bolt holes are not the correct size nor are they in the right place for the bolts to go through the trigger group pins. Still looking but I'm not optimistic for being able to mount a sight on this.

That stinks there's no options...

No options yet...I used a Fire Sight for my New A5 for now...I didn't really think about mounts before I bought the gun....
