He don't, he said its a hobby for him and if he started having to fool with shipping and selling so many he couldn't keep up with then it would turn into work, and he's retired from "work".

I just got my short box in mail today from Jeff McKamey.   This is the first custom box call I have ever owned.  Persimmon lid and limba bottom.  Man it sounds good.  Great craftsmanship as well.  God willing I will get to see my son take his boy huntin with it one day.

Like GED said, I really like David Halloran's calls. I played about every one of them at the NWTF convention and was able to talk to him for a while. Good guy, great calls.

I love my checkered  short box fro David Holloran. Like you it was my first custom box call. I believe it has found its forever home.

I have  Jerry White " Dad" Short box Purpleheart /Cedar sounds really good..Got 3 Lonnie Mabry short box calls coming, don't have my hands on them yet, but cannot wait to try em out.

Hands down SS custom calls . Al is an excellent call maker and his customer service is second to none Period..
