Hey everyone! This is my first post so let's see how it goes...
I have the TC encore with the 12 gauge turkey barrel and was wondering what load and choke you guys like to use. I get decent patterns with the factory choke and Remington nitro turkey #5 but was looking to improve. Thanks!

I don't have this gun but someone who does will probably chime in real soon.  As a side note, Nitro Company recommends a .660 choke with their loads.  Good luck

Thanks Taylor! Hopefully someone else can give some more recommendations

I would contact William at Sum Toy.
He can make you exactly what you need. He made a choke for a buddy of mine with the 20 ga barrel, and that little gun is a slayer!

I have that barrel and it shoots Nitro Co (not Remington) or Hevi 13 straight 7s
Through a Indian creek 665 tube extremely well.

Indian creek .660
Hevi-13
2 ounces of #6
great pattern but packs a wallop on both ends.

First of all, welcome to OG. We look forward to hearing more from you.

The Wright's turkey chokes have been favorites of Encore shooters for many years. They're not always available but when they are, I try to get as many as possible for my readers. Both the #2 .660 and the #3 .650 work exceptionally well in those guns.

The shells that have worked best with them are the 3" Hevi-13 shells with 2 oz. of #6 or #7 shot.

I hope that helps some.

Thanks,
Clark

Thanks everyone for the welcome and all of the great info, will definitely look into those chokes and shells!

I take Clark's advise with a box of salt, he's done enough testing for us all..

I shoot a TC Encore and use either an Indian Creek choke with Hevi 13 # 7's or Sumtoy choke shooting Hevi 13 mag blends.
Both shoot incredible patterns.  Let me know if you have any questions.
