Great to get back in the shop. Still recovering from back surgery. Trying to catch up on work and getting ready for a week of turkey hunting in south Texas.
Four calls and strikers going to a turkey hunter in Mississippi. A little late due to back problems, hope he understands.
Calls are from a piece of Kentucky river bottom walnut. Wood is beautiful as it is lacyed with sap wood. Strikers are a variety of walnut, coffee, and two piece striker of pecan and birch matching the strikers and calls. Calls have a new pedestal/shelf design that gives the call more rasp. Calls are medium to high tone based on the striker. Tested this design last year and was very successful in calling in four different Texas long beards. This is one of the calls I will be using next week.
