Copper pot care

I just bought a copper pot off of a member here.Sounds great and I love the high pitch,what do I use for the copper surface to resurface it?What strikers would you suggest?I wanted to get a few more types of strikers to try before season gets any closer.

320 grit sandpaper on the copper and scotch brite on the strikers. Cedar,osage and purple heart sound great on my lights out copper.

  To condition it for the first time use some 120 grit emery cloth.  I use scotch brite just like you would use on your slate after that.
You may need to use the 120 occasionally after a lot of use.
I prefer a heavier striker for copper such as Bubinga, Bloodwood or Bocote.  All of these work well.

I only use green scotch brite on my copper calls.  Go one direction and then again 90 degrees from that.
Strikers?  The harder the better.  Osage, Bloodwood, African Blackwood, Snakewood work well for me.
