Got a new ceramic call and just trying to figure out what sticker works best on that surface.

I ran one yesterday that came with a hickory striker...it ran ok.  I also used a purpleheart and an ebony striker on it.  The purple heart made some really nice natural sounds but was a little difficult to run.  The ebony ran the easiest.  I really liked how well it ran and it made nice sounds, not as sweet as the purple heart but I was very pleased with how easy it ran.

Bill Lyman's snakewood works great on all surfaces. Steve Torman and Harold Fowler both make awesome strikers. Hickory, black locust, dymondwood, African blackwood are some to try.

I like laminated...Lights Out...even the Primos laminated strikers...

I like Mike Yingling's carbon striker on my ceramic pots. Actually, that striker sounds good on everything.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.
