Optics??!??

I've put together numerous turkey rigs, and I prefer tight patterns and iron sights.  I've put together some small frame rigs for wife and kids, and we guide many novices. I always have my shooters hit the board before we go out for a hunt.  I have seen many turkeys missed due to shooters raising their heads off the stock, especially at close range.  I'm thinking about putting optics on my shared rig 390 20ga.  Im looking for pros/cons and recommendations on optics.

I truly believe a quality Red dot sight
Is just the ticket for a young shooter, novice,
Or even experienced hunter.
Hard to go wrong withe the Burris FF3 or
Trijicon Dual Illumination Reflex sight.

Another vote for Burris FF III. Have a II on one gun and a III on the other. The III is much better IMO. Both have great battery life, but the II requires you to remove the sight from the gun to change the battery, the III does not. The III also has click adjustments that the II lacks. The sights add next to no weight to the gun and have great field of view. The auto brightness works perfectly. My only gripe is that the lens scratches easily, so you need to keep a cover on the sight when moving. Burris also offers great customer service. Will never have another turkey gun without an optic, and scopes add too much weight for me.

Yep I also own a FF 3 and its a little pricey but the setup and getting it sighted in is so simple. I can't think of a single con about it. Love it
