The first few weekends public gets hammered wherever you go. Good luck. Get about a mile in and away from the crowds.

This will be my first season in LA and I'll likely be on a WMA on opening day.  good luck to you

Genesis 27:3 - Now then, get your weapons—your quiver and bow—and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.

I've hunted Sherburne for deer and seen plenty of turkey sign but never put eyes on a bird.  Be careful. I hear it can be kind of crazy out there during the turkey season.

What I do, is to hire a couple buddies with some good gobble calls...

I decide what area I am going to hunt, and I have my buddies disperse nearby (but not close enough to interfere with my hunting), and go to town walking around in the woods blowing those gobble calls...

Just tell them to stay away from that hen cutting and yelping...

Did I do that?

Fly fishermen are born honest, but they get over it.

3R and RR are pretty darn big.  I would say it all depends on where you are hunting in there.  If its a known good area, you may have company????   I have never hunted in there.  I know before the flood, they had one heck of a population in there.  The flood hit em hard, but they should be coming back strong by now.

I scouted Kisatchie for the first time four years ago.  All i had to go on was a set of gobbler tracks on the rd.  Opening morning i had birds gobbling in every direction from the moment i stepped out of the truck.  I happened to find a well known area that was full of bird and full of hunters as well!!!
