As I sit here listening to it rain and the threat of snow and ice, I'm wondering how season is gonna . About 4 years ago, we had a very mild winter and early March was pretty warm. I witnessed birds fighting in the first week of March and by the time opening day came around, I was bumping hens off nest. I fought for every gobble I got and even then the birds just wouldn't work. I've always said that a cold winter equaled a good spring season. I think it keeps birds grouped up till closer to the opener and makes them act like they're suppose to during April. I'm thanking God that the weather is doing what it is now.I think we are in for an awesome season. What's ya'lls thoughts on this?
