Sneed hot hen strikers??

I love my hot hen with the striker that Lonnie sends with it. Just curious if anyone has found one that they prefer better??

I've been meaning to call him and ask what it is he sent with mine. Its just a simple two piece with a reddish shaft but it plays awesome on his slate and all my other pots.  Several other woods sound great on it too but I keep going back to his.

Pretty sure its purple heart with an oak topper.  Nope have not found anything better yet.

I have had a lot of success running Persimmon and Dogwood strikers on my Hot Hen. But heck, it is killer with about every striker I have put on it.
