I havent read too many good reviews of the hornadys so i shyed away from them. Cant wait to test these longbeards and kents!

Seems like I remember having one of those guns that had a bump inside the barrel from the front bead. That would be a deal killer for the flight control wads. If you were able to get rid of that, they might work.

Just because I was curious I try'd the #5s though a modified at 20yds and since the OP didn't post any pics I figured I'd post my results.

a mod choke is not out of the question. I wouldnt hesitate at all on using one once the timber greened up and visibility gets a limited to 10 15 yards because vegetation is grown
