Hola from Tejas or Greetings from Texas.

Name is Jeremy.  I found this forum because I was looking for a 2 3/4 slide tube sized laminated "win cam" forend for a 20 gauge 1300 Winchester I recently acquired.  I googled for it and turned out here on these very forums a member named Spring Creek Calls had one up for sale.

I snagged it.  Seems like a nice fella btw after a few email back and forth chit chat.

Figured I'd sign up and have a look around.  I've never hunted turkey but it might be nice to one day.  In just reading some of the postings here its always nice to broaden one's knowledge so Ive had a look around.  My intention is to fix up this 1300 as a general purpose HD/clay pigeon gun and not a turkey tool. However reading some of the stuff here makes me realize with the right choice of choke and load I'd easily  have a good tool for the job should the opportunity for a turkey hunt ever presented itself.  Good to know. Mainly just fixing this thing up because it was neglected and I got it for next to nothing.  I've never owned a 20 gauge and figured it wouldn't hurt to add one to the arsenal.  Plus I like taking on beaters for project guns.  So far its cleaned up really nice.

Anyhow theres my hello thread.  I can't add anything useful with hunting turkeys (although I enjoy a tasty one every thanksgiving :D) but firearms in general I love bs'ing about. Im sure you wont mind that.

Cheers all from Texas.
