another good memory of my favorite gun

i have been hunting with my wby vangard 30-06 i bought in 1970 and have not used it in a few years.it was my favorite gun for many years but used it less and less over the years.misty,morning in my blind with the little propabe heater between my toes about 8.30 when this guy came into my shooting corridor.i placed the gun on my shooting stick when i saw the antlers and was ready before he got 20 yards to the woods and safe shot from the cows i was watching at the hay rings over 400 yards away.i bleated,he stopped and looked and hit the ground at the shot.good shot,great old gun and great hunt.
