Back on the lathe after about a 4 month hiatus. Been deer hunting pretty hard, but the buck tag is filled and the turkey itch has set in big time. This one is a red heart copper over glass. Haven't seen this wood used much in calls but really like the sound of it. Looks a lot like cedar but it's a lot harder to blow it into chunks when you start turning it lol
