Where does everyone get their wood? Been turning some walnut and cedar that was given to me and even though it's the rut, the turkey itch has hit me hard! Just wondering where everyone purchases their wood from?

Anywhere we can find it. Google search exotic wood.  Ebay, old pallets from work,  I search firewood piles.  I've carried branches off the hill when hunting.  You find it where you find it. Welcome to the addiction.

I get a fair amount from a local hardwood store here in KC.  Purple heart, Cocobola, etc.  But I also get alot from a local saw mill.  Stuff that he can't sell.  Spaulted woods, odd sizes, etc.  I've also harvested some from my own property.  Oaks, Walnut, etc.  I also get some thru friends.  I think I got more wood than I'll ever use. Lacey LOL!  Yea, it's addictive!
