How do you make the mount?

Any advice or links to read?  The season hasnt started yet here but in case I do get a turkey I didnt want to do something stupid to where I couldnt make a mount.  So what would I need to do for a fan and beard mount as far as bird prep? <---If that makes any sense. lol  Thanks!!!

I did a quick search on google and this is basically what I do. I really dont use the bondo  I just use borax and let the fan dry for about a month. Hope this helps. http://www.jimallred.com/turkeytailmounting.aspx
