Has anyone every used the wood from a buckeye tree for a pot call striker?

Buckeye is a very light soft wood. Unless stabilized I doubt that it would make a good striker. It may work for early morning soft tree talking. Unstabilized Buckeye only has a Janka rating of 350. I prefer woods over 1500 janka for strikers.
No trees were hurt in the sending of this message, however a large number of electrons were highly inconvenienced.
