Make no mistake, all of my patterns were good and killed just fine. The jelly head did OK as did the rhino and Sumtoy. I'd say rhino or get William to make a 695 or 698 for nitrous.
The 7s will get you the numbers and tight patterns. I shot them with a 675 Sumtoy. I thought I had so.e straight 7 nitrous and possibly might, but will have to look.
Nitrous will cost more and have a wait time. If that is what you want, then begin ordering them now and pattern now. If you wait til January or later next year, then you may wait a while. Hevi 7 did OK too, although I do worry about penetration and killing power at 50.
Another alternative is the long beards in lead. They do well. me personally, I'd experiment with a few nitros in 4x5x7 h51013..either hevi or mega weight. They can also help you, but will recommend the big 2 7/16 oz load. That one is brutal. I'd stay in the 2 1/4 range. Try the blends and straight 7. Im not sure how the open choke would do with the 7s though
