No gobbling in my hunting area for a week
Keep seeing good toms just can't get them close enough for a shot

I hate to jump on this wagon, but not a sound here since the opener.
The only good thing, all the other hunters disappeared too!
I am going to bag my first Turkey this spring if it is the last thing I do!

It's a tough season so far, wet and cold weather are not helpful. I'm about to hunt in Ontario, and I wait for warm, sunny day. I even worked this week-end to earn days off during the week, hoping for better forecast...

There was not a lot of gobbling where I hunt until the last few days. The weather has been great the last 3 days and the birds are gobbling. I heard 3 different gobblers this morning and buggered one at fly down. KY season goes out today
but I will be heading to Kansas next week
Spring turkey hunting, I love it so. FREEDOM IS NOT FREE
