My house was burglarized last summer. One of the things stolen was my turkey gun.

I relied on the experience of the members of this board when deciding on a replacement set-up. The "Pattern Pictures" section was a huge help.

I settled on an 870 Express, 21" bbl, .665 Undertaker and Heavy 13 3" #7's. I LOVE this gun!!!

I tagged out (2 birds) with it, second one
was henned up, forcing me to take a 44 yd last chance shot, a record for me. SMOKED him!!!

The knowledge I gained from the members of this forum allowed me to confidently choose a set-up without spending alot of extra $'s on choke and shell combos. Just checked it at the range, took it to the woods and it did it's job perfectly!

Thanks again  :icon_thumright:

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

That's what makes this site great... Glad it all worked for you and I hope those thieves get what they deserve someday....

That is exactly what this site is for, glad you got your new gun lined out and smokin' birds.  :icon_thumright:

Get a masonry drill bit and drill a large eyelet screw into the foundation of your home , and cable lock down all your guns --

Takes 30 minutes or less and you will never have to worry about it again
