Picked up one if the newer Browning A5s with a 3" chamber this morning. For those of you who have dealt with these guns. Which choke/shell combos have you found that work best in your guns?

Must be nice.... I'm jealous! :)

;D I had to wait until I could find a used one. Then had to trade off a few lesser desired guns to get it.

The choke/shell that has worked best for my readers is the JEB's turkey choke and 3" Hevi-13 shells with 2 oz. of #6 shot.

Thanks,

Pictures please!!

Good luck with new your new gun. I once was the owner of an A5 NWTF gun of the year. I was young and dumb and traded it off for an 11-87 Green Leaf Mossy Oak 21" barrel gun that I still own and have killed many a long beard with. I know the A5 would have held its resale value a lot better, but I needed a gun I could hunt with, being a poor college student at the time.

Congrats on the new gun!

We got a pic up in pattern section of targets with them.   They are putting up good numbers with new Winchester shell.   :anim_25:
