I normally hunt south east Kansas the opening week of their season,& have for about the last 10 years, but it always seemed early as most of them were still bunched up. From the post I have seen here about all the turkey being killed, I began to wonder if I might be to late this year. I will be going up on the 28th of April for a week, just wondering, do you think I'm running a bit late??

I've tagged out over Memorial Weekend in Kansas.  I bet you'll have plenty of birds to play with during the end of April.

Genesis 27:3 - Now then, get your weapons—your quiver and bow—and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.

I think you'll still find birds. It's been very dry in that area this winter and it was just starting to green up last weekend. I took both of my birds on Saturday. 7 hunters tagged out in 3 1/2 days.

Robert,
A couple of my buddies just got back from KS. They killed a few, but birds were still in big groups. They also had some snow and ice. I think you will be in good shape.

Me and 3 buddies went to north east Kansas for the opener and we all tagged out in a day and a half.

I hunted Georgia for three days. The weather did not cooperate too well. Rain and thunderstorms. We heard very little gobbling when it was not storming. I did go to Augusta and watch a Masters practice round, though.
