My First Custom Box Call!!

Well i made a visit to a local call maker today. 3 hours later i came out the door with a rosewood teak turpin style hen box made by Chuck Anderson. I've been contemplating a custom box now for  a while now and i think i picked a good one. I couldnt be happier with this call. It looks beautiful and let me tell ya the thing is packed full of pure turkey sounds. It was a treat just to talk turkey hunting with chuck.He is a great guy and builds the best box calls that i've ever seen. Well its my first custom box call.And yea i'm sure glad i paid chuck a visit today. He even gave me lessons on how to "really play a box call". Now i'm gonna start saving up for one of his road hens!!
