Where do I start?

pretty unsuccessful in finding anything local.  I did look into a few different outfitter/lodges $300 a night seems to be the going rate for any in Illinois.  A little out of my price range for a first time learning experience.  Guess my search radius is going to be getting bigger.  Time to head north and west
