Winchester double x shells ?

The new Win XX shell is the old Win Supreme HV shell, I have shot them for years and they are a great shell.

The cheap old gray box Win Super X is a great shell too and actually out patterns the Supreme HV/Double X from my 870.

Have you shot the new win xx HV 1 3/4 ounce 5's to compare them to the old HV 1 3/4 ounce 5's. Just wondering, only have 3 of the old ones left and bought a box of new ones this morning.

Yes, they shot the same from my short barrel 870, just over 100 in the 10" with the 3" 1.75oz #5's.

Excellent, got my gun running 110 with the 3" HV 5's. Shots at my new lease are typically 15-25yds. Put HTL set ups in the gun cabinet and hunting with the leadslinger.
