Running late as usual, got to a secluded little food plot and got set up just as he lets loose for the first time.  He gobbled his fool head off.  He gobbled at owls. He gobbled at crows.  He gobbled at wood ducks. He gobbled at my Farmer trumpet. He even gobbled at himself a few times!  Next thing I know, I feel/hear him drumming over my left shoulder. Then he gobbles from about ten steps behind me!  After collecting my proverbial hat and cleaning my proverbial drawers, so to speak, I slipped the safety off my little 20 ga double.  Cut him a flip at 25 steps, no flop.  Thank you Lord for allowing me this day in your woods! And thank you Zach Farmer for "Little Black Sambo"!
