Real nice! So on burnt Osage, are you done turning the call then take a touch to it or torching it earlier? I love the look of it.

Will H.  there are a few ways to do it I turn the call 100% sand the call 100% then burn the grain lines by hand without the lathe running. You can turn the lathe on and do it but it gives you a diffent look intirely when the lathe is running. This particular call has 6 coats of polyurethane on it aswell. Hope that answers your question
