Aluminum over slate...

Just want to show off my anodized aluminum over slate two sider from Misfire, dad gummit Lee makes some good looking calls, only matched by their sound! This one is stabilized flame box elder with black dye.

That flame box elder is a good looking wood. I have one of Lee's trumpets made out of that, it isn't dyed though.

I have one of his older trumpets made from it as well. That black turned out really nice.



This is another one made from the same wood, but for some reason it soaked up more black.
