A few weeks ago I bought a Mossberg 500C 20 ga. with a wood stock to set up for my 10 year old son to use.  I knew what I wanted to do to it so I finally got it all set up last night.  I have not had a chance to shoot it yet but hopefully it works well for him.  I installed an ATI talon stock, scope rail with burris speed dot scope and it came with a pure gold .555 choke.  I left the stock wood forearm on it because it is a little longer than the ATI forearm and it fits my son a little better.  I put it all together and then painted it with an ASAT paint scheme.

Looks great. I want the ati stock with the rubber grip for my 500. Plan on painting mine OD green. What kind of coating did you use?

The addiction will cost you time and money and alienate those close to you. I can give you the names of a dozen addicts — myself included — whose wives begin to get their hackles up a week before turkey season starts and stay mad until a week after it closes.

I just used the krylon/rustoleum camo spray paint.  It has a dull finish and is fairly durable.  I put a few coats of matte clear coat on top to help seal it.  This is the third gun I have painted this way.  You would think I would have it all figured out by now but I know we could have done a little better job on it.  My 835 that we painted about 5-6 years ago looks a little better.  The good news is that we can re-do it in about an hour if we are so inclined.
