Check the Mossberg website as they used to have rails that should work.
Thanks Mossy! :icon_thumright:
I'll check it out!

I used mine all last season and only had one problem...The turkeys avoided me! :angry9:

The Mueller worked just fine. I shot the gun several times during the season and the sight was still dead on.

I found the auto setting was too bright for me at first light, and actually too bright most of the time. I just used the  manual all year.

The saddle mount worked well but I am considering having it drilled and tapped to get the sight down on the receiver.

mine worked great all season, could not be happier with it.

my only complaint about it is it could be a tad more low to the rail, i had to get a cheek riser to get my face up enough to see it but over all for the price i believe it to be the best there is. Burris FF2 is prob a better option but for $100 more i will keep shooting the Mueller.

I loved mine for the first 4 gobblers, then as number 5 was walking into range my reticle failed me (showed up in pieces - not a battery failure and hard to explain but it was a failure).

Called and emailed customer service and they were great. Had a brand new scope to me at no cost or hassel within 2 days (in other words they sent me a new one without seeing mine that i was sending back).

if nothing else I would back their product based on customer service alone :z-winnersmiley:

The same thing happened to me as well with the rectical. I'm shootin a mossy 835 3-½" shells. I sent 2 back then wound up getting the Mx-1, because I believe it's able to withstand the recoil from the ol mossy. The customer service was great, very helpful. I would recomend the mx-1 good dourable red dot.

Wanted to see if any more of you had opinions on this site after another season has kicked off.

I've taken 8 birds with my Mueller this season (in different states obviously) and it's performed flawlessly for me this year after the issue last year that I reported on earlier in this thread.

I got a remington youth 20 gauge that I'm going to get a red dot for and Im trying to decide if I should go with another Mueller or go ahead and step up to the plate and get the FF 3.   Im happy with the Mueller and if I hadnt had an issue last year, I'd 100% jump all over another one but I wanted to see if my issue from last season is a persistent problem or if anyone else had additional opinions after more time in the field with their Mueller.

This is my first year with the Mueller Quick Shot and I am happy with it. I have had no problems with it other than going with the manual setting at first light, then switching over to Automatic once the sun has come up. Has held up very well to the recoil of the 870 20 gauge.

Sighted mine in on Sunday, and am very happy with it. So far, so good.

I'm on my second season with mine with no problems other than what has been mentioned re the auto setting. Mine is on a 1300 with a weaver base and is a mite high so I used a piece of foam pipe insulation under my butt shell holder and it works as well as a store bought cheek riser. I'm reading this section trying to decide on an option for my new 20 gauge 870 project. I'm weighing the price difference in the Meuller verses a speed bead low to the gun style.

Second year with my Mueller.  On an SBE1 , running 3 1/2" Hevi's.  Have it on a saddle mount, so its a little high for my real liking.  Killed three with it last year, well actually two.  Battery went out just before fly down on the last bird.  I always carry an extra.  A quick change out.... and that one was dead too.  Both were the batteries that came with it.  Damn china batteries.  Bird came strutting in.  You know that little space below the saddle...I can still see my front bead.  Gun shoots about 6 inches low, but I know it.  Rolled him.

Because of the battery issue I turn it on just at shoot time.  Have an extra "good" battery in the turkey vest.  And turn the battery over if I won't be hunting for a week or more.

If your mount has space under the mount, sand bag the gun- Look to see POI with the dot.  Check point of aim under mount looking at the front bead... it may save a hunt.

Second season for me and it worked fine just like last season except I got smarter or the turkeys got dumber and I got one.

I put a fresh battery in every season and never had a problem. I leave it on five or six hours straight every time I hunt.

I probably would not have killed a turkey with out the Mueller as the turkey walked in behind me and I had to fall back from the tree I was leaning against, rolled up on my left shoulder and shot the turkey with the shotgun turned 90 degrees.

Thank you Mueller.

mr perfect
