Got on a bird this morning that just didn't want to play and he went down creek bottom away from me. Decided to set up on one of our green fields that borders neighboring cutover only a few months old. Figured hens might be nesting in cutover and therefore...... Was giving a few soft cuts every 20 minutes or so when this guy and 3 of his running mates show up about 9:15. After looking them over and deciding this was biggest of the group I introduced him to a load of 3.5 inch Nitro blends at 14 yards. Needless to say, he was very impressed. Largest 2 yr old I have killed at 20 lbs, 10.25 inch beard and 3/4 and 15/16 spurs. More pics and score posted in kill section. Got 2 weeks to get on another.
