I've seen some for sale but never heard of a fry'n pan call, I guess its a pot call made just a little different.

What makes a fry'n pan ...a fry'n pan ?

Austy

Here is one that I just put together about a week or so ago.  It is my first pot call with a copper surface.  This call is Black Walnut with a Copper frying pan over a copper soundboard.  It's not a bad sounding call, a little different.  One thing for sure, its heavy with the 2 pieces of copper it has some weight to it.  This frying pan surface was purchased from grassycreek calls.

I was wondering the same thing myself, any advantages with fry pan copper over regular kind?

What DoePee said, now I'm even more curious, so if you had a fry'n pan and a typical pot made from the same materials would be the difference in the sound, easier to run,?????
