vest ?

  I know. A buddy of mine bought a Turkey Thug vest from Wal-Mart the other day for $50.00. I was checking it out, and it seemed like a pretty nice vest. I like how it is made out of a cloth material, with back pads on the inside of it. I know that sounds kinda crazy. My vest is made out of some kind of material, I don't know what you would call it, but it sounds like a wind suit, which is kind of loud. I was just wondering what your thoughts are if you have messed with this vest? The whole Turkey Thug thing doesn't really impress me, but if its a good product, I don't care what it says on it. Thanks

Ik what your talking about. I'm more of a pack light kind if guy. That turkey thug vest is real bulky. up to you though.

I personally feel they screwed up when they started making vests like some kind of military load bearing harness with all external pouches and zippers/velcoro.  My old vest is heavy cotton cloth with all internal pockets and snap flaps.  It is quiet and doesn't snag on everything.
