Hey guys,

I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when I was only 5 years old. As a part of my managaing this disease, I run... sometimes A LOT of running. I have entered the Little Rock Half Marathon on March 2, 2014. While doing this, I am raising money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

My goal is to get 40 people to donate only $1 per mile ($13.10), or 20 people to donate $2 per mile ($26.20). Can you help support my fundraising efforts by making a donation?

JDRF's mission is to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. JDRF is the world's largest charitable funder and advocate of type 1 diabetes research and is responsible for more than $1billion in direct funding since it was founded. JDRF funds research with the greatest impact throughout the world, leading to results as soon as possible.

Team JDRF...our goal is the cure.

Click on the link and then click on the "Support Me" button and join me in the fight to find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes. All donations are tax deductible also.

Hey, its not too late to help out. Even though the Marathon was this past Sunday, I am keeping my donations page up and running for a little longer.  The race was a good one. I was able to beat my goal by over 2 minutes, and finished stronger than I had palnned. I guess adrenalin shows up other than when a gobbler is right in front of you.

Thanks to all those who have donated to JDRF. We will find a cure for type 1 diabetes in my lifetime, I am sure of it.

Thanks again for your support,
Matt
