First of all, I'm not one to bash other's success, but as a heads up.. you're gonna get an earful from me right now..
#1 - Nice miss! It happens. I'm sure it was fun though, especially for a kid. That was good footage.
#2- The first bird that was killed in this video had no visible beard. To me, nothing in the video indicated that there was any beard at all on the bird. Even if there was a very small beard, there's no way that you could've known that prior to your shot. In PA, the bird is not legal if it doesn't have a beard. It can come in strutting, screaming and gobblin at you, if there's no beard, it's not legal. I'd love to know what you put as beard length for that bird on your harvest report (assuming you reported it.) So in essence, either that bird was not a legal harvest or it was by luck and that you shot it not caring or not knowing whether or not it was a legal harvest.
#3-What happened on that double? Did you both shoot or did one hunter shoot twice? I'm just a little weirded out about shooting through all that brush. Call me paranoid, but no bird is worth a hunting accident.
I'm sure everyone is going to yell at me about negativity towards success threads. I'm all about success the second half of this video just rubbed me the wrong way.
