Critiqe my calling Please?

Here is some cuts and yelping on my glass and some purs/cuts on my slate. Please feel free to critique as much as possible, trust me you wont hurt my feelings. I want to have these two sounding perfect but have no one to listen.

I agree with Mr. Cox.  The 1st one, glass call has a nice high front, solid roll-over and good rasp...no doubt it can get raspier if you wanted to.  The slate sound a bit weak, but that could just be the way you were running it.  For your puurs, try standing your striker a little more up right and hold a little higher on the striker, it deadens the sound and the purrs sound better

The glass call sounded good. Be careful you don't repeat every sequence the same. Turkeys don't know they are making 8 yelps and 3 clucks. Put a little more feeling in the call to make it come to life. The slate was a little weak. You will notice on a dual pot call that there isn't much playing surface on the underside. I would just use that side to cluck and maybe a little purr. When purring the center of the call is going to sound a little hollow. I would use the outer 1/3 of the call to purr and use your leg and hand to make a sound chamber. That will make the purr come to life and be more realistic sounding. Hope this helps.
