Has anyone noticed that the 3" 5's shoot higher than the 3" 6's at 40yds. Wondering if it looks this way because of less shot. I only shot a couple and they were both higher. Could be operator error. Didn't have my Caldwell rest. Had to shoot off of my truck.

I have only shot the 5's but they shot higher than every other load from my 870.

Out of my SX3 with a .665 and #5's at 40 yards using Winchester supreme HV and Winchester Longbeards, the longbeards shot 8" to 1 foot lower than the supreme HV.  No idea why longbeards shot lower, I just left the supreme HV sighted in since I have been hunting with them since 1992.

The 5's and 6's shot high out of my guns, seemed like the 5's were even higher than the 6's. Only shot a couple. The pattern being super tight might be what it was.

interesting I'll have to watch for that when I pattern mine....I have my sight problems under control after that issue last year, don't imagine I'll switch away from the HTL but by all accounts it's nice to know they have finally come up with a pattern dense lead shell
shoot first, measure spurs later
