About the registration for the NWTF convention....

Just wondering if others had the same experience I did.
When "registering", which I despise anyway, they ask for my drivers license to "confirm" my address. Really?? How many people do they think are slipping in with someone elses membership card. I almost hate to say this, but I guess soon we'll be issued photo ID cards.
I am concerned about the general direction of the NWTF.

Yep, they wanted a photo I.D. from me too. I guess my new NWTF card is not enough?

They didn't ask for my id, but I didn't know I needed to register ahead of time to get my name tag. I had to wear that stupid bracelet for three days. I just cut it off and taped it back on the next day.

I tried to register online ahead of time but never could get it to work. Just as well I guess had to cancel my trip at the last minute anyway. Looking forward to next year.

Never asked me for mine. I pre-registered and walked up and told them my name. Only problem we didn't get all out stickers for our chapter occomplishments. Did like the lay out

Didn't ask for mine. I walked up, showed them my membership card, gave me my bracelet, and walked in. I had a buddy with me who just renewed a few weeks ago and didn't have his card yet. He showed them his receipt, on his phone where'd he'd renewed, and he walked in. Maybe it was a random thing.

Let me get this straight....you had to show a photo id to get in a room full of turkey hunters, but if we ask for a photo id to vote in a national election, we're racist....unbelieveable.....
