I wouldn't do it. If you are gonna get a sight for under 150.00, go with a Mueller Quick Shot, Bushnell trophy or TR-25.
Truglo's don't have the best rep for surviving hard recoiling guns.

My quick shot did not stand up to my 10 gauge and nitros.  Prob a little more brisk than a 3" 12, but I bet not that much given my SP-10 weighs close to 11 pounds.
