Who makes your favorite ghost cut

For the past few seasons my go to call has been a ghost cut mouth call. I bet I've seen 20+ birds die to just a ghost cut since 2011. I have one that I really like, went to the store and bough a couple more just like it and neither have the same sound. I got to lookin at em and the cuts were noticeably different. No biggie, they still sound pretty good but they don't quite have that sound I've grown to really like.
I've tried a couple more and they all sound good but I still haven't found one to mimic the call that started it all with my obsession for ghost cuts.
This call can go so soft that you can just barely hear it. It's clear as a bell but if you want to you can roll over to just a slight rasp that is absolutely beatiful. I've been able to achieve this with all of em, and kill birds with all of em. Just wanting to find a new ghost cut from a maker that offers a little more consistency in their calls. I like the toxic orange too but I'm wanting something a little softer.

The first ghost that I truly liked was the Cane Creek Lost Poult.  Still a great call, but then I moved up to the Woodhaven Sadler McGraw Sig. Series and found it to be the best and most versatile ghost on the market for me.  I got kinda worried when he moved to Southland, thinking that the call wouldn't be made anymore or it would be different...no problems at all.  It was the same perfect call.  Now that he's on his own, I know I can still get that same perfect call, consistently, any time I need one.  Sittin' on four right now, so I should be good for a while...haha.

I have had good luck with the cane creek lost poult in spring and fall.

Houndstooth Game Calls

I switched over to a ghost last season cause of just what you described I can make a pushy sounding yelp or soft sweet clear purrs really sweet little bubble clucks I build them out of yellow latex top reed with two reeds of proph. If you wanna hear one give me a call and I will run it for ya  or send you a sound clip if ya like... Be glad to build ya some!

I recommend getting Lyle from Houndstooth to make you a mouth call. His Tom Bomb is the best mouth call I have ever used. It will do it all too. You can do all the soft calls but also fire some rasp too. The quality and consistency of his calls are best I have ever experienced.

So far, the best ghost cut I've ever run is a Legacy "Lost Legacy" small frame. The call is very easy to run and pitch is easy to control.

XT calls. The XT "Kee" specifically. Best ghost cut i've ever ran.....period.
