Thank's Bones, no I don't raise em anymore for two reasons. The first one is because my two jakes and my tom dissapeard during the early spring season... Since they were fearless of humans, I beleive that they finished roasted in a hot oven... The hens in search for mate made ther way in the woods and never came back
I had no roof over the ''chicken house'', they were free to fly over and hang freely around.
The second reason, is that now, in my hunting zone, we are not allowed anymore to raise free ranging turkeys, because the concern about mixing genes from raised one to true wild one, wich makes sens.
Those raised turkeys taught me so much about how calling em, they were my best teacher so far.
I had great fun watching em and learning from them
