I know there's lots of folks on here in the call making business and don't want to cause a war but want a sweet sounding custom pot. Never had a true custom call but know something that sweet sounding is worth the money. Leads?

mike yingling copper pot is an outstanding choice i got one earlier this year they are nice, and it has a sound that you wouldnt believe!

When I was starting out one of the ways I looked for call makers that might be a cut above the rest, look at the call making contest section and look at who is consistently winning for hunter class calls. Yes there are some Amazing call makers that don't enter any calls but you're not likely to get a bad call from a guy who is piling up ribbons either.

Wendel Rye "LIGHTS OUT" makes a rock solid call and all he builds are pot calls. I've got several and there is not a slouch among them.
