A friend and I were out about a week ago, here in Eastern NC, and we saw about 20 turkeys. We had 4 adult hens in the group and the rest were this years poults. Even with all the rain we've had, it looks as if we had a good hatch and an even better survival rate. Deer season is just around the corner, so we'll see what shows this fall.
