Scoring thread for the contest

1st Bird: 18lbs 3oz, 7.75" Beard, 1"spur and 15/16" spur

Second Bird and Upgrade Bird: 20lbs 5oz, 9.9375" beard and both spurs 1.125"







I know it's hard to see but there is a strand almost at the 10" mark. I had to ask someone to help and I didn't notice that the strand had slipped off the tape when I took the pic.

Killed two and this is the better one.  21 lbs 3 oz, 9.6875 in beard, 1.125 in spur, 1.0625 in spur.  I didn't notice that one spur had a little of the tip broken off when I posted yesterday.  Also he must have lost a few pounds on the ride home since he weighed 21.5 lbs in the field!






Total score = 62.4375.

I'm done guys, didn't get to hunt as much as I wanted to, but at least I could contribute.  Looking forward to next year!

Finally was able to pull the trigger.  Killed this bird on Thursday, May 12th at 5:50 a.m.

Weight: 21 pounds 6 ounces
Beard: 10.5 inches
Left spur: 1 7/16 inches
Right spur: 1 7/16 inches
Score:71.25

I don't like 1 pic of a spur that the ruler slid up on the time of the snap, and shows bigger than 1 1/16 in the pic, but was actually 1 1/16. I kept everything in the frig so can redo if needed.

Added a picture of the beards totally with a ruler to verify my measurements. Anyone has an issue and needs more pics let me know. I'm saving everything in the frig till everyone is satisfied.

Tom your measurement on beard shows 10 3/8, but you claimed 9 1/2. What's correct?

Just remeasured the beard and it is 10.25
The one hair that I thought was not attached is attached quite nicely.
