There is a news story out there about a little girl who was rescued from an over turned car in a creek, it shows the rescue, the folks hollering at each other, giving instructions, offering help, and it shows the attempt to roll the car over, someone looking in seeing the baby in her car seat. Then the baby is passed to a line of folks waiting to get her to the ambulance. But what it doesn't show now that Fox news showed earlier was that before the rescue took place, people on the scene heard someone calling out, "help me help her" and as they raced to the car, they discovered the lifeless body of the mother inside, then the child. Now, I ask you .... who was calling for help? Hebrews 13:2 : Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares." How many of you ever helped someone or received the help from someone and then question whether or not that person was an angel sent from God? Earlier in Hebrews we see, " Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?" referring to angels...would you be willing to accept the fact that there are ministering spirits out there amongst us reaching out to us when we are in need of ministering? This tiny child ( of whom I believe to be pure in heart ) because she had not yet reached the age of accountability, was in need, God sent an angel to her aid. Do you have a story? I do, and here it is.... I was operating a hundred foot long mobile crane on a concrete dock 125 feet above the river below, lifting a refuse tank from off a work barge. It weighed around 30 tons, I was boomed out 85 feet, nearly 80 degree angle, the flag man below says, you need to move west about ten feet, take up your stabilizers, leave the boom out and move. I started to raise the stabilizers on the upstream side, then the downstream side, in the process the machine lost it center of gravity, and suddenly it started tilting over, the only thing that could stop it was the barge 125 below me......as it was tilting over, the door swung open, I was lifted out of the cab by what I thought was the force of the roll, but I was lifted out and placed on the tire to the rear of the machine, opposite the river side, and as soon as I hit the tire, it rolled landing me safely on the dock just as the tip of the crane landed on the work barge below. When the dust settles, the machine was lying on its side 90 degrees, the boom was laying on the roof of the barge, and I was left standing on the dock, scratching my head........do I believe that God sent me an angel? Yep......to this day, let's hear your story.........

I drove a step van (similar to a UPS truck) for Frito Lay for a very long time.  In a very bad ice storm, I was taking the on ramp to the hiway and the truck turned sideways going down the ramp. Before I got to my lane, the truck turned straight and i entered the hiwway safely. The road was so icey I drove two miles to an overpass with the outside wheels in the grass on the shoulder, going idle speed. I sat under tthe bridge for a couple of hours until a salt truck came by. Then waited for the ice to melt before I headed for home. I've always said I had an Angel on the front bumper and another on the rear bumper keeping the truck on the road until I got to the bottom. I always thnk of Amy Grant's song '' Angels Watching Over Me''.
