Some good eating right there. Congrats.

Are they good eating?  I've kept a few larger trout and other than grinding them up and making fish cakes, I didn't care for them.  They were very similar to salmon and I'm not too crazy about them.  I've heard the larger fish are good smoked.  I've never caught steelheads, are they similar taste wise to big rainbows?  The difference between steelhead and rainbows has always been a mystery to me.

Taste fine to me . Similar to salmon. I bake some and smoke some. As far as rainbow / steelhead I have heard they are the same. Not sure ?????????? I hear the same about Chinooks and Kings (salmon).Again ??????

May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?
