FF III.
They are small, and when paired with a 336 Marlin base, they sit as low as a sight can possibly get.

Trying this same set up on my mossberg 935 this year. I like the fact that I don't have to build my comb up or raise my head up off the stock. Makes for some bad habits.

Anyone know the battery life of the FF lll? I am looking for a red dot for my S&W 41 and am between the Trijicon RMR, Aimpoint Micro, Ultradot Match ll and the FF lll.
Any input would be appreciated..
Thanks,

Mike
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?
If attacked by a mob of clowns, go for the juggler.

Every time I read someone brag on the "other" sights that are slightly bigger but have all those extra features, colors, dot sizes, etc. and are cheaper I look at it like ask buying a washer and dryer that has lots of different settings...you simply don't use all that stuff and run them on normal all the time anyway. Same with the sight...I doubt anyone ever uses all the settings other than when it is new and just trying them out.

Get a ff3 and hunt. You won't regret it. Quality costs, and is well worth the cost too.

I cant quote you an exact hour but am pretty sure any of the red dots will last thousands of hours.  The chances of your battery needing changed is pretty slim but because of Murphys law you bring an extra.
